Welcome to Hays & Holm. Our mission is to create beautiful floral arrangements that bring natural joy and colour to every day.

Hays & Holm is a small scale artisan business - everything is done with intention and consideration for both you and for our planet.

Founded by me, Jude Mott, inspired by the original Ayrshire based Haysholm farm of my forefathers, the name reflects our commitment to support and showcase the beauty, range and fragrance of flowers we can grow on our shores.

As a graduate of the Days of Dahlia flower school, we are committed to scrutinising all our choices and developing a sustainable business to be profitable in a way that never prioritises profit over people or planet.

Flowers selected are seasonal and arranged in a naturalistic style, creating an atmosphere of abundance, colour and scent .

Bouquets, Accessories and Table arrangements are made to order meaning no two arrangement will ever be identical.

Collection from Dollar, Clackmannanshire or Delivery within 10 miles. Weekly drop-offs can be arranged for groups - please contact me to discuss.

All plant and packaging materials used are fully compostable or re-usable multiple times (in the case of glass).

Option 1 Everyday Flowers

Fall in love with flowers again - naturally. Heartfelt and beautifully chosen these hand-tied blooms are designed for every-day giving. Each bunch is gathered in the spirit of spontaneity - perfect for birthdays, doorstep surprises or just because. Naturally wrapped. Always kind to the earth.

  • Petal Pot: Jam Jar posy. Ideal for bed-side or pocket money gift. £20

  • Whisper Bloom: Medium sized bouquet. Finished with 100% silk ribbon. £45

  • Nature’s Muse: Large bouquet. Finished with 100% silk ribbon. £65

Option 2: Gift Bouquet

The special treat you want to give. Gathered with grace and tied by hand, each bouquet is a free-spirited expression of the season - wildly elegant, textural, and alive with natural movement. Using only seasonal, locally-sourced blooms and foliage, our arrangements celebrate nature’s beauty while treading lightly on the earth. Designed to delight, gifted with meaning and always created with care.

Gift wrapped in a glass vase and display box with tissue. Boxes and tissue are compostable. Gift bouquets contain a Hays & Holm notecard including an optional, personalised message.

Earthy and romantic, our boutonnieres are crafted with soft blooms, foraged textures and a hint of countryside charm. Each one is hand-tied with natural twine or silk ribbon, bringing a touch of laid-back elegance to weddings, woodland vows and outdoor celebrations.

Corsage £25 (right)

Delicate yet grounded, our corsages blend soft blooms, wild sprigs and natural textures for a look that feels freshly gathered. Worn on the wrist or lapel each piece is hand-tied with twine or silk ribbon .

Wristlet -£46 (below)

A wearable bloom which is hand-crafted with seasonal flowers. Designed to sit lightly on the wrist with silk ribbon ties they offer a graceful, earthy alternatie to traditional accessories. From Individual bowls and vases to multiple clusters these bespoke arrangement create a statement and enhance atmosphere. Perfect for :

We highly recommend the addition of candlelight which adds to the magic and helps with day to night transitions in atmosphere.

Bouquets need a minimum of 2 working days notice in order to ensure best experience. I will aim to accommodate requests where possible.

The story of Hays & Holm

Flowers in the blood

Hays & Holm has been created by me, Jude Mott, a 4th generation plantsperson. My great grandfather studied botany and garden design in the 1800’s. My grandfather other than military service during World War 2, dedicated his life to growing at the family nursery and market garden in Irvine, Ayrshire. The farm was called Haysholm and as children my sister, cousins and I had the huge joy or running up and down enormous greenhouses full of flowers - while keenly aware this was a place of work with strict attention to detail, skill and the dedication it took to run the nursery and subsequently the District Parks Department which it became.

Today, following a rewarding career in communications technology which enabled me to travel the world, explore cultures, see a huge diverse range of flora and fauna I’ve found myself answering a call to my heritage.

I love sharing my passion for how colour art and landscape are linked and exploring how connection with them can help us find meaning and a sense of wellbeing. I live at the foot of the Ochil hills in my native Scotland.
